Dr. He has taught and practiced acupuncture for the last 34 years and is the longest practicing acupuncturist in the Tampa Bay region. She speaks fluent English and has been a guest lecturer and teacher at the University of Florida’s Shands Hospital, the University of South Florida’s Rheumatology Residency Program and several other accredited acupuncture colleges. Her office is also one of the training clinics used by USF Residents of Family Medicine who are studying Complementary and Alternative Medicine.
Dr. He is the third generation in her family to become a Physician and is extremely proud to provide health and medical care for her patients. Her husband is Dr. John M. Bindeman, a highly respected Clearwater dentist, her best friend and partner. He has had a general dental practice for 36 years. Dr. Bindeman has been a volunteer at the Homeless Empowerment Program, the Community Dental Clinic, Gulf Coast Dental Outreach and the Mission of Mercy for the last 17 years. Their oldest son, Dr. John Pang, MD is a Johns Hopkins Medical School graduate and one of the top 10 head and neck cancer and reconstruction surgeons in the US. He is treating some of the most complicated and extensive cancers. He volunteers his time to teach and incorporate Yoga, meditation, exercises and diet to help his patients and local community members quit smoking and live healthy. He also recommends acupuncture to treat Allergic Rhinitis, Sinusitis, and certain types of Hearing Loss, and Dry Mouth due to radiation therapy and fatigue cancer patients. Their younger son, Jeffrey is an Eagle scout and senior at Florida Southern College. He double majored in computer science and mathematics. He hopes that one day he can be a middle school math and computer teacher so he can help kids who are challenged by math and computers. Dr. He enjoys traveling, Scuba Diving, Snow Skiing, Tai chi, Yoga, Ballroom dancing and exercises regularly. She really practices what she preaches which is to live a happy, healthy, active and balanced lifestyle.
